Biography
Joangel Cedeño Ceballos (JSax). Born in the Dominican Republic in 1999, married to Daniela Hernández de Cedeño.
He completed his secondary education at Geraldo Jansen High School, where he specialized in Music. He continued his studies in the United States at Keiser University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (current). He is also studying at the Juilliard School (current). He has been a professional saxophonist for 4 years. In the beginning, he taught flute and saxophone classes at the Pablo Ortiz Pepen and Marcos Montas Art Academy. He was also a band ensemble assistant at the Gerardo Jansen High School and a guitar and flute teacher at the Chamber of Commerce in the city of Higüey, DR. He participated in a group of teachers as the lead saxophonist, even while in high school, and also gave private saxophone lessons. He has participated in numerous activities since his beginnings, both charitable and paid, which can be seen on his social media.
The JSax Music project
aims to provide young people, children, and adults with a positive and exciting alternative when they become interested in the arts. It also seeks to encourage the motivation of listeners to develop their own qualities, regardless of age, gender, nationality or religion, and to engage in the arts, whether as a way to escape the darkness of life or to provide a genuine service of worship to God.
